After acquiring a majority stake in Twitter, South African tycoon Elon Musk announced that he would implement some internal changes to the platform aimed at providing users with greater freedom of expression.
In this regard, Lisa Ann, a former porn star asked him to ban X-rated content on the company of the little blue bird, because unlike other social networks, to some extent it allows some illegal content to be distributed even to minors.
“One thing I really hope is that Elon Musk will step up and say, ‘We’re not going to do this anymore, and if we do, you’ll have to enter your date of birth, there will have to be an ID situation,’ that’s what I hope,” she mentioned in one of the podcasts directed to her fans.
Likewise, the 50-year-old stressed that there was no contradiction between her message and her career as a porn icon.
“Yes, I did porn for many years of my life, and I’m not hiding my past, as people say to me every day on social media when I put my clothes on: ‘Why are you trying to deny your past? You’re this, you’re that,'” she said.
Unlike Facebook and Instagram, where nudity and explicit content are not allowed on their platforms, on Twitter, porn is allowed, although users cannot post explicit content in profile pictures, header images or live streams.
