The Express reports that Royal commentator Ian Lloyd has said it would help repair bridges and give the Royal Family a chance to meet the latest addition.

Speaking to Palace Confidential on Mail+, Mr Lloyd said: “One of the things we have to wait and see is whether little Lilibet is christened in this country given the Sussexes horror of high profile events.Meghan Markle and Prince Harry urged to return to the UK for Lilibet christening

They might want to keep it a low profile event with the Clooneys and Oprah in America.

William and Kate’s official Twitter account posted a message saying: “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.”
