Scarlett Johansson has set pulses racing among fans of the upcoming Avengers Assemble film by admitting she wears nothing at all under her skin-tight leather suit while playing the part of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow.The actress also revealed that, as soon as the cameras stop rolling, the first thing she wants to do is strip off the costume because it’s so hot inside.
Reprising the seductive role that she first portrayed in the hit film Iron Man 2 alongside Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett says she’s pleased to be exploring the character further – even if it does involve some sacrifices.
‘Everyone on the film has their own uncomfortable costume situation – but it’s 800° in mine,’ she said.‘And it’s a one-piece – I have nothing underneath it.’
Describing the outlandish costumes that appear throughout Marvel Avengers Assemble, Johansson, 36, describes it as ‘like a surreal, out-of-body experience – like a dress-up, but to the extreme’.‘Everybody looks incredibly uncomfortable until the cameras are rolling, then we all look badass,’ she continues.
‘When the Avengers assemble, it feels like being a little kid. But then it’s “cut!”, and we’re all like, “arrgh, God, get this thing off me!” ‘As soon as we cut, everything comes off. All our costumes are unzipped, some air conditioning venting unit goes in, someone is having a wig removed. ‘We all have our various things that we have to do to get comfortable.’

“There have been months of training and stunts and fighting. I will probably be in physical therapy for years. There’s a lot of hand-to-hand combat and a combination of different fighting styles — gymnastics, Muay Thai, boxing, kick-boxing, I do all that. “And we use all kinds of stuff, knives, guns, all sorts,” she added.
